Dianna has always been creative and preferred three dimensional work to painting or drawing. In 2006 she started experimenting with melting glass rods at home and made little glass beads with it.  But soon that was not enough, and so she enrolled in a metal work course to craft the silver findings too.

She then rediscovered slip casting ceramics, initially combining glass and ceramics, but soon started to cast stoneware bowls and cups.  In that first year she bought her first bag of black clay, and fell madly in love.

She has learnt to cut her own plaster masters and cast her own moulds.  She loves the design process, knowing that the entire product belongs to her.  Since then, she has started to make more complex moulds.
